Culture remains the primary draw for the Greek capital earning an impressive rating of 9.2 out of 10. Travelers reported feeling culturally enriched and inspired by their visit highlighting the deep emotional connection the city fosters with its guests. 


Furthermore Athens was praised as an inclusive and welcoming destination for all backgrounds and abilities. Despite these successes industry experts note that a significant challenge remains in fully translating high passenger traffic into hotel occupancy. 


While the city functions as a vital gateway for those exploring other parts of Greece there is a clear strategic push to enhance local infrastructure and public spaces. Continued investments in airport expansion and urban accessibility are seen as essential steps to maintain competitiveness and ensure that the benefits of this tourism surge are sustainable for both residents and visitors in the years ahead.
