The Aegean 600 (https://aegean600.com/) is a challenging, non-stop, 600-nautical-mile offshore sailing race in the Aegean Sea, organized by the Hellenic Offshore Racing Club (HORC) and Olympic Marine, known for its iconic Greek island course, demanding conditions (including the famous Meltemi winds), and blend of mythology, stunning scenery, and serious seamanship. Starting and ending at Cape Sounio, near the Temple of Poseidon, the route navigates around islands like Milos, Santorini, Kos, and Rhodes, testing sailors with tactical challenges like wind shadows and strong gusts.
